I have been working on genealogy for many years, and in the process have collected boxes of old, family photos. Some of these memorable images were badly damaged so I learned to restore them. It has been an exciting venture to be able to bring these vanished faces, buildings and activities back to life. In the process, it is fun to look at the faces of my ancestors and recognize some of their features in the faces of living family. Photo restoration has become a passion for me and I love doing it. ” I am lost for words. The re-worked photos are absolutely stunning, I can’t believe what you have managed to do — what magic! I have known these photos intimately for years, in some cases since I was a small boy. To see them now I can only compare to wearing glasses for the first time: I thought I knew what these ancestors looked like, but now I really do. They are so clear, and the details I never dreamed could be there are just amazing. Thank you so much, Mardi, you are truly a wizard! Best wishes, Michael”
“Awww…..the first catagory I went to-was restorations—and there’s Grandma! What a gift! I’m so glad & thankful that you are moved (and talented) to bring new life into old things which otherwise might be lost for those who come after us!!
Now–I’m going to go look around for some CO sights!
This is Gorgeous! Wonderful website!” Catherine
